She is taller than mommy with twice the attitude!!  Really struggling with electronic time for both kids, they are so addicted.  She started at Galena High and he started at Pine Middle school.
Peter is not liking the early school time.  He has to wake up at 6am to get ready and be at the bus at 6:55am.
I changed my schedule to be up early also.  I have to be ready to leave at 7:45am to dropped her off at Galena.

Kid's chart update

Kara at 7: 45 1/4 in, 43 lbs
Kara at 8: 4ft, 48lbs (20%)
Kara at 9: 4 ft 2in, 51lbs (20%, 10%).  Still my petite girl :>)


Compare to Peter:
at 6 : 44 in, 41lbs (25%, 30%)
at 7:  46 1/4 in, 42 lbs (10%, 25%)...the doctor was a little worry since he didn't gain that much weight.  I attributed this to him being sick the week before the annual checkup.

Tuolumne Meadows visit

Marek wanted to go climbing just outside of Yosemite-off of Tioga pass road, with some friends so we decided to drive the family up to Yosemite. 
While Marek climbed with his friends, my dad drove the kids and us to Tuolumne meadows.  We were able to get in free since my dad was a Senior.:>)

Last days as a preschooler at the Child Garden.  They had a lual celebratrion.

Peter's 5th birthday

We had the birthday at home with friends and family.  Lots of playing for the kids and talking for the adults.  We had: Gary, Anne, Alden,  Nadeem, Value, Faisal, Yasmeen, Yjaz,  Tony, Jen, Lx, Yn and Jayde, Viet, Kaylee, Nathan.  The Grandparents were still on their trip across the states in their mobile home.

The weather was kind of overcast, to it wasn't quite as warm as I would like..so no water play for the kids.  Seems like everybody had a good time.

Jerry Mitvalsky is in town

We went to have dinner with Jerry at Chili's:  He's living in Utah nowadays with his cat, Veronika-his wife, is living in Czech to take care of her mother and Jerry's mother.  I guess you can say they have a long distance marriage.
