Trying out my so call photography. Took some pictures of the moon on what is maybe the night of the brightest moon on Jan 29, 2010. Some came out pretty cool if I say so myself :>).
Got a little snippet of daddy getting the kids ready for bed. They just had their baths, and daddy is trying to read to them..or more to Kara and Peter is just wanting in on some of the action.
Aren't they the cutest!!! Talking about daddy's mini me.
Peter escaping all the fun. Doesn't he just have the sweetest voice!!!
Welcome to 2010. It's hard to believe how fast 2009 went by.
Miss Kara, attitude has been growing in proportions. Quite the "I know best" little miss.
Peter is starting to grow two molars on the bottom. Poor little one, it must hurt like the dickens.
Luckily it hasn't affect him as bad, just the not chewing the food fast. He's pretty chipper. This one is going to take a lot longer to potty train. He just doesn't care!!!
How fast they are growing!!!
Been having to wake them up a lot earliers on days she goes to preschool. The schedule has her doing math at 8:00 AM, so have been trying to get her to preschool before 8:15 AM. Boy am I tire!!!
With the early wake up meaning earlier bedtime. If it was just me getting her to bed, she's in bed by 8:00-8:15 PM, and she's usually out before 9:00PM. Marek is still resisting making her go to bed earlier. What's with him!!! It just hurts her in the long run with the later bedtime and early wake up..less sleep. With him she doesn't actually fall asleep until 9:30-10:30..way too late for a 4 1/2 year old!!!
First pictures of 2010:
No, we've have not cut any of her hair since she was a baby. That's how her hair grow..very,very,very slowly.
Looks like the Kenmore Elite frost free upright freezer in the garage is on the fritz again. Model #25326472101, serial #WB73842798. It's two years old.
Now the temp alarm is on and the freezer is flashing 24deg and climbing. The copper pipes in the back are clear, no dust or ice. The compressor is warm to the touch and running. The freezer is warm to the touch. The alarm went off and it's starting to warm up. Last time we had it fixed the repairman fixed the drier tube back in Feb 2009. Don't know what it's this time. It's seems to be failing when the weather is cold outside...hmmmmm more mysteries.
Do we have a lemon of a freezer? Would Sears replace this for free? Probably not since it's 2.5 years old.
Marek seems to think that we're overstuffing the freezer and it's working to hard to keep cold..I personally don't believe this, but I don't know why it's failing either :<(
Try to give it a go at seeing what could be wrong before I break down and call the repairman, if it's worth it.
Pull the plug on it and kept it off for 1 1/2 days. Powered it up again. Let it run for a day. Still not getting cold enough..only goes to about 32deg and the alarms goes off again. Took out the inside panel. The coils are not all frosted over, only the first row near the beginning is it frosted. Is there a leak? Is there not enough gas in it? This was a $500 freezer...not trivial to replace!
Here are pictures:
The freezer standing in the garage with nothing surrounding it.
The freezer running. Took inside panel off.
Checking the coils. Not frosted over all the way. The freezer indicating 32deg and alarm blinking. This has been running for about a day.
