More pictures of Yosemite

Continuance from Keough hot spring and Yosemite log.

Just getting into the Valley..see Yosemite falls in the background..full force.

(look closely you also see Peter doing a little emergency leak LOL)

Went to check out the buffet starting time..the kids ran into a bear!

Taking the shuttle around the valley..Peter quite liked it.

The kids spied on a deer.

Hiking up to Lower Yosemite's Fall.

Coming down Vernal Falls and taking a break.

Finish of the hikes.

Keough hot spring and Yosemite

We took an impromtu trip to Bishop to try out van camping. We stopped by Marty's first to pick up some of Marek's climbing shoes. The kids got to hang around the chickens, dogs, and horses. Their flowers were blooming!!! After we headed over to Keough's hotspring. It was great to dip into the pool.
We then decided to go to Yosemite the next day since we just saw that Tioga pass was open. So with that in mind we car camped overnight at the rest stop just before Mammoth.
This is the first time sleeping in the Van!!
It's wasn't too bad except for my poor back...next time I have to bring more padding, just using the loung chair paddings was not enough. Everybody else seem to sleep fine.
Sunday Morning we headed to Yosemite quite early..7:00AM.
Tuolumne Meadows still had lots of snow and quite chilly. The river was sure surging.
We took the shuttle around Yosemite village, hiked up to Lower Yosemite falls, and then hiked up Vernal falls.
I was impress with the kids. They both hiked up and downVernals (3 miles RT) by themselves. Of course there was alot of whining/tantrum from Peter, but he did make it :>)

The kids at Marty's front yard.

Swiming at Keough.

River along Tioga pass

Touleme..still ice and snow on the lake

Marek and I once climbed here...long time ago:>)

Half Dome in the back.

Mommy's new haircut

I got a new haircut courtesy of Thi. Decided that the hair was getting too long and decided to get it cut. Left the decision all up to Thi as how short to cut it and what colors it should have. Not bad ay.
Of course I can't get my hair to come out like she did when I brushed and curl it myself!!!

Before the cut.

After.

Kara graduated Kindergarden!!

My first born has just graduated Kindergarden!!
She will be attending First grade(full day!) at the end of August. Where has the time gone, I'm still remembering her first wobbly walk. No more naps during the week. Now I have to worry about what to pack for her lunch and if she will eat it. She's still a picky eater. I can invision little spagetthi box or chicken nuggets every day of the week!!! That was what she would only eat at pre-school at Blue Kangaroo.

My baby is growing up!

Kara and her K-teacher Mrs. Bentel. So nice, love receiving the summary email every Sunday of what they did in class that week.

Kara's Kindergarden graduation recital

This was Kara's graduation from Kindergarden.  Our little camera really didn't do it justice, so we did shell out 10 bucks for the school's recording of the recitals.
