fun at wild waters

I decided to take a friday off to go to Wild Waters with the family. It was very hot, but the water was still cold. I got tickets for Marek, Myself and Kara using the IGT discout: $18.00 compare to the $25.00. This is the last year that Peter gets in free since 3 and under a free :<)
Mom and Dad got to used the Senior discount of $8.50.

It was a very fun day. Kara actually was tall enough(42 in and above) to ride the big rides with daddy or herself. Peter still had to stay at the kiddie pool. I even went on some of the big kid's rides.

Camping at Lahotan 4th of July

We all decided to brave camping 4th of July weekend. O.K, my parents, the kids and I outvoted Marek. He came along reluctantly.

Dad decided that maybe we'll be able to find a sight at Lahotan lake. Have to say it wasn't the funnest..is that a word. time in the world. There were lots of mosquito, it was very hot, the AC didn't actually worked on the camper, the lake was a little dirty, the smell of gasoline was in the air since Dad was trying to fix his boat engine right next to camper...but the kids had a blast in the water and on Dad's little boat.

I had a hard time sleeping because of the gasoline smell.

Marek of course was miserable. He spent most of the time in the hot camper trying to read or sleep. At least he did come with us :>) We decided to come back early after only spending one night.

I don't think we'll coming back to Lahotan. Sorry kids, I know you had fun, but most of the adults didn't ;(
