Easter egg hunting 2011

Why is it every Easter so far have been miserable in the weather. Last year was cold and windy, and this year was cold and rainy. We still braved the weather to get in some Easter egg hunting for the kids at the Damonte Ranch High School.
The kids picked up quite a bit of egg loot. Peter even found $5 in one of his eggs ( I think he accidentally picked up an egg from one the the site for the older kids..oops :>))

They got to hunt Easter eggs, eat popcorn, pet rabbits, get face paint..overall I think they were happy to brave the weather.

My little cowgirl

Giddy up cowgirl... Every since she saw Jessie in Toy story 2 and 3, she wants to be a cowgirl. Said she even wants to go live on a farm.
I told her "You would need to work and make money to buy a farm."
She told me "You guys should buy it for me".
I said "We use all our money to feed and cloth and buy toys for you and Peter"
She said" O.K when I get older like 7 I'll go work and buy a farm to live in"
I said "O.K you do that" :>)

Movie at the drive in Rancho..Cowgirl Kara

I took the kids to see Tangle at the drive in movie theatre at Rancho park. It was the opening night so all the entertainments and movies were free. The kids got to see fire dancing, bicycle tricks, bounce hounses and horse riding. They were not happy with waiting in line for everything, but what can you do when the event is free. There were bound to be tons of people.

Kara particulary loved the horse back riding. Peter not so much, he wanted off as soon as he was placed on the horse. We went to the van once the movie got started. I should off picked another movie for them to see since they already saw Tangle at home. They were a little restless. I decided to take them home halfway through the movie since they were restless. It was not a bad night since they got to do some of the events..for free:>).

She wanted to go another round, but she would of have to wait back in line again. She declined.
